Adobe/ Google Chrome Install and Setup

Instructions to setup Adobe Acrobat Reader and Chrome to work seamlessly with CampLegal. Looks like a lot of steps but it only takes a few minutes.

Download Adobe Reader:

Instructions

  1. Open Google Chrome

  2. At the top right-hand corner click on “Customize and control Google Chrome”

  3. Click on “Settings”

  4. Type in the search box “PDF”

  5. Click on “Site Settings”

  6. Scroll down to “Additional Content Settings”

  7. Click on “PDF Documents”

  8. Make sure “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome” is checked Blue

  9. Next, click on “Autofill” located on the left side of the screen

  10. Click on “Address and More”

  11. Ensure the box is NOT blue because it will interfere with searches in CampLegal

  12. Go into the CampLegal site and open up your most recent case

  13. Click on “Forms”

  14. Open any form

  15. If the form DOES NOT open up automatically with adobe, click on the download box at the bottom left-hand corner and click on “Always Open”

  16. Once you’re in Abobe, click on “Acrobat Reader” at the top-right of your screen

  17. Click on “Preferences”

  18. Click on “Security (Enhanced)”

  19. UNCHECK “Enable Enhanced Security”

  20. Click on “Add Host”

  21. Type in “lawyer.camplegal.com”

  22. Make sure to click on “Secure Connections only (https:)”

  23. Click “OK” the screen should look like this:

  24. Save the form

  25. Open the form back up, make a small correction, save it again

  26. Open the form again and make sure that the correction you made is still in the form

Make sure to delete the minor correction you made in the form during the test to ensure the form is in its correct state.
